India stalwarts Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli went up against each other in the nets at Adelaide Oval. Kohli, who scored a sensational century in the opening Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, played an on-drive against Bumrah, who targetted Kohli’s stumps.
Bumrah himself was at the forefront of India’s massive 295-run victory in Perth’s Optus Stadium. The pacer picked up 8 wickets in the Test match, derailing Australia in both innings of the match. Perth Test was Bumrah’s first win as India’s Test captain.

The Indian team’s practice was open for the crowd on Tuesday, 3 December. Rohit Sharma was in focus in India’s training and batted under the watchful eyes of Abhishek Nayar. Nayar kept a close tab on Rohit’s foot movement as the India captain looks to get through the paces after missing the opening Test match of the series.
Virat Kohli lights up Perth
Kohli was absolutely stupendous in the opening Test at the Perth Stadium where he racked up his 30th Test hundred. On the back of his knock, India set the Aussies a massive target of 534, after which they bowled the opposition out for 238.
Virat Kohli is on the cusp of equalling or breaking an all-time record of the legendary Don Bradman when India and Australia lock horns in the Day-Night Test. Bradman currently holds the record for most international hundreds by a batter in a visiting country, with 11 centuries from 19 matches in England from 1930 to 1948.
Kohli currently has 10 centuries from 43 matches on Australian soil since starting to play back in 2011. Jack Hobbs (9 centuries in Australia), Sachin Tendulkar (9 centuries in Sri Lanka), Sir Vivian Richards (8 centuries in England) and Sunil Gavaskar (7 centuries in West Indies) also feature in the list.
In 43 matches in Australia, Kohli has scored 2710 runs at an average of 54.20 with a top score of 169 back in December 2014 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
