The 24-year-old batter hit his maiden triple hundred in a Ranji Trophy match for Rajasthan against Uttarakhand at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun. Lomror hit his triple hundred in just 357 deliveries, smashing 13 sixes and 25 boundaries in a whirlwind knock in Round 5 of their Elite Group B Ranji Trophy match.

Mahipal Lomror remained unbeaten on 300 as Rajasthan made 660 for 7 declared in their first innings. Mahipal Lomoror has been in sensational form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. In the first match of the season, scoring 529 runs in four matches for Rajasthan. Lomror returned to action for the first time since the IPL in their game against Puducherry at home, but failed to get going in both innings. However, he bounced back with a 99 against Himachal before smashing his first hundred of the season against Hyderabad in Jaipur earlier this week.

Lomror must have attracted the attention of IPL scouts. The left-handed batter was released by Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of the IPL mega auction. Lomror played for RCB between 2022 and 2024 and showed flashes of brilliance. He struck at 183.82 in the 2024 season fof 125 runs in 10 matches, playing the pinch-hitter’s role to perfection.

Lomror played four seasons for Rajasthan Royals, but struggled to make an impact and cement a spot there.

The Rajasthan youngster will be hoping to get a good payday as young Indian finishers will be in demand in Jeddah on November 24 and 25.
