Border-Gavaskar Trophy, 3rd Test Day 2 | Mohammed Siraj riles up Marnus Labuschagne with bail switch banter at Gabba

Mohammed Siraj continued his feud with Marnus Labuschagne as he riled up the Australia batter with a hilarious bail switch on Day 2 of the Gabba Test on December 15, Sunday. Siraj has been public enemy No.1 after his animated send-off to Travis Head during the Adelaide Test after dismissing the Australia batter in his hometown.
Siraj has engaged in banter with Labuschagne throughout the series, starting with the Perth Test. During the second match of the series, the Indian pacer angrily threw the ball at the stumps after Labuschagne decided to withdraw from the delivery due to a distraction from the crowd. Since his actions in Adelaide, the Indian pacer has been booed by the crowd a lot, and even at the Gabba.
Siraj wouldn’t reduce his intensity and continued his banter with Labuschagne during the match on Sunday. While bowling the 33rd over of the Australian innings, Siraj would walk up to the striker’s end and decided to flip the bails right in front of Labuschagne. The Australia batter would then quickly change the bails around right after Siraj left the scene. You can see the full video below:
The crowd at the Gabba clearly liked the interaction between both men as the series has been heating up since the Adelaide Test.

Labuschagne loses concentration after Siraj banter
Soon after the Siraj banter, Labuschagne would lose his concentration and it led to his downfall in the end. The Australia batter tried to go for a drive at a full delivery from the all-rounder and edged the ball to slips, where Kohli gleefully accepted the catch.
Siraj hasn’t picked up a wicket yet in the match and suffered an injury on Sunday. The pacer had to be taken off the field in what seemed like a knee issue.
