BGT | Mitchell Marsh ready to shoulder charge Virat Kohli: Will take him out when he gets to 30

Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has joked that he will shoulder charge Virat Kohli whenever the Indian batter reaches his 30s. Speaking ahead of Australia’s 5-match Test series against India, Marsh and other Australian players spoke highly about the Indian batter and his knack for scoring against Australia.
Virat Kohli has been prolific for India against Australia. The No.4 batter has just over 2000 runs from 25 Tests at an average of 47.48. Kohli has scored 8 centuries vs Australia, out of which 6 have come away from home.
While the batter is going through a rough patch in Test cricket, the Australian media has put focus on the batter, given the conditions suit the right-hander.
“I think I’m going to shoulder charge him when he gets to 30, just take him out,” Mitchell Marsh was quoted as saying by Fox Sports.
Australia pacer Mitchell Starc also commented on the batter and said that he does not have any plans to sledge Virat Kohli and would like to let the ball do the talking for him.
“I got to play alongside Virat for a couple of years in the IPL, so I got to know him off the field a bit and I have always enjoyed the battles together. But I don’t think it’s like him or I have cracks back or forth. It’s more about the cricket and enjoying the contest. So he’s not someone I have riled up or tried to rile up. You just have to try and let the cricket do the talking,” Starc was quoted by Fox Sports.
India will play a 5-match Test series for the first time in 32 years. The last time India played a 5-match tour in Australia, they lost 0-4. India managed to draw one Test match at Sydney in that series, courtesy of Ravi Shastri and Sachin Tendulkar.
