Klaasen or Hendricks? Arshdeep Singh on favourite wicket in 4th T20I

Arshdeep Singh has claimed that the wickets of Reeza Hendricks and Heinrich Klaasen were both his favourites as India defeated South Africa in the 4th T20I on Friday, November 15. Arshdeep rocked the Proteas top-order with an early burst that saw the hosts lose 4 wickets for just 10 runs while chasing 284.
The left-arm pacer ended up with figures of 3 for 20 in 3 overs as India won the match by 135 runs. Arshdeep picked up 8 wickets in 4 matches and opened up about his favourite dismissals from the final match of the series. The pacer said he liked both the Hendricks and Klassen scalps and went on to talk about the first dismissal.
Arshdeep said it was good to setup Hendricks with an outswinger first and then cleaning him up with a ball that came in.
“Today both of them were my favourite wickets. The ball came into the right-hander, one was bowled and the other trapped in front of the stumps. So both felt good. For Reeza, one was an outswinger and the other one came in. So setting him up was good. Klaasen one was also good,” said Arshdeep.

Aim is to bring results for team
With his performance in the series, Arshdeep became India’s 2nd highest wicket-taker in T20Is with 95 scalps to his name, one behind the leader Yuzvendra Chahal. The pacer said that he felt good about getting the wickets, but claimed that he doesn’t look too much into stats.
Arshdeep said his aim is to deliver the results for his team when it is demanded and win matches for them.
“It feels good when you get wickets. When your process is working and it brings you results, it feels good. I don’t look too much into the stats. My aim is to bring in results for the team. Stats can be good or bad but the main thing remains that I want to deliver when the team demands me to and win the match for them,” said Arshdeep.
India would end the year with 24 wins in 26 T20Is this year.
