Afridi was hit on the thumb o0n his bowling arm during the match and was seen in pain. The incident occured during the third ball of the 26th over when Adam Zampa and Sean Abbott were at the crease.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI: Live Updates | Scorecard
Australia bundled out for 140
Pakistan had won the toss and put the hosts into bat, much like in Adelaide. It was a struggle for all the batters with Jake Fraser-McGurk’s poor form continuing as he was dismissed for just 7 runs. Aaron Hardie’s promotion to No.3 in the revamped side failed, while captain Josh Inglis also failed to make an impact with the bat.
Cooper Connolly’s injury compounded to the misery for Australia on the day as there were only 5 batters who went past the double-digit mark with Sean Abbott’s 30 being the highest. Shaheen and Naseem picked up 3 wickets each while Haris Rauf got 2 and Mohammad Hasnain 1.
Pakistan are on the cusp of history as they will end a 22-year wait for a series win in Australia if they can chase down 141 in Perth on Sunday.
