Veidekke: Building 136 homes at Hasle, Oslo
Veidekke has been commissioned by Moro AS to build the Haslevangen project with 136 apartments in seven buildings at Hasle in Oslo. The commission is a design and build contract valued at NOK 410 million, excluding VAT.
“Haslevangen is a well-developed project with good solutions and qualities that we believe will be well received in the market. We have collaborated with Moro on the project since the summer of 2024 in a smooth and good process, and look forward to extending the good cooperation during the construction of the project. We greatly appreciate the commission,” says department manager Morten Barreth of Veidekke Bygg Oslo.
The Haslevangen project consists of seven buildings that are four to eight storeys in height. The 136 apartments vary in size from one to three bedrooms, with almost all of them having south-facing and sunny balconies. There will be a common basement below the buildings with storage rooms and a parking facility for cars and bicycles. There will be three common roof terraces and green common outdoor areas for residents. The project faces low detached buildings to the south, and the apartments will have an airy and sunny view of the city and sea.
Kristin Mortensen of Moro is pleased with the choice of Veidekke as a very solid and experienced residential contractor. “We’re looking forward to realising a central and attractive residential project in close proximity to the Løren and Hasle metro stations. When sales in the project start later this year, this will be an opportunity to buy an apartment in Hasle’s best location,” Kristin Mortensen with Moro says.
Demolition work was completed this autumn. Construction will start immediately with handover scheduled from the autumn of 2026 to the spring of 2027. This commission is included in Veidekke’s order book for the first quarter of 2025.
